User Guide for Using Safety Forms & Signs

Welcome to our Safety Resource Center. This guide will help you effectively print and use safety forms and signs to maintain a secure work environment.

Printing Recommendations

  • Print all safety forms and keep them organized in a dedicated binder or safety folder. This ensures quick access during audits, inspections, or incidents.

  • Print signage in high-quality color on durable material (e.g., laminated paper or plastic) to withstand outdoor conditions.

  • Use appropriate sizes for the signs to ensure readability from a distance.

Placement Guidelines for Safety Signage

  • Post signage prominently at entrance fences and safety boards where all workers and visitors can easily see them.

  • Place specific reminders near relevant locations to maximize effectiveness. For example:

    • A PPE reminder sign at the entrance gate or before accessing a hoist area.

    • No Smoking (Flammable Material) signs near fuel storage or chemical handling zones.

    • Confined Space Danger signs at entry points of confined spaces.

Safety Board Checklist

  • Use the main page safety board checklist and post all required information from your site on the safety board.

  • This is a mandatory requirement and must be maintained and updated regularly by your Construction Safety Officer (CSO) or responsible site manager.

Why Proper Placement Matters

Properly placed signage helps ensure workers are constantly reminded of safety requirements, reducing accidents and enhancing compliance with safety regulations.
